Safal’s National Registered

Apprenticeship Program

Safal Partners provides employers across every sector and industry with a U.S. Department of Labor (U.S. DOL)-approved national Registered Apprenticeship program for critical cybersecurity and tech occupations. We have taken on the responsibility of program sponsorship so you can focus on building your talent pipeline.

Safal Partners worked closely with industry employers and stakeholders to build an industry-informed, credential-aligned program. Our registered apprenticeship program is offered at no cost to provide employers with a structured framework and easily-accessible resources to train new hires and upskill current workers in a number of occupations.

Apprentices can be mid-level employees, entry-level or interns – new hires as well as existing employees who require upskilling. Apprenticeship is a workforce development strategy for all levels in tech and cybersecurity focusing on related instruction and on-the-job learning. All occupations are competency-based and employers can customize their program to meet unique organizational needs.

Our Registered Apprenticeship Program

What We Provide

  • Program Sponsorship and Management

Through our national program we serve as the apprenticeship sponsor. We handle the paperwork, program management, and assist your organization’s apprenticeship point person in ongoing program administration, freeing your staff up to focus apprentices’ on-the-job learning.

  • Free Online Related Instruction

Through our partnership with an industry-leading training provider we offer employers fully remote, on-demand instruction – including labs and assessments - for their apprentices' related instruction at no cost. The training can be customized by employers for each occupation and is aligned with industry-valued credentials and certifications.

  • Access to Cyber and Tech Talent

As a DOL VETS Employment Navigator & Partnership Pilot (ENPP) approved partner, Safal Partners can provide organizations with direct access to military service members and their spouses who are transitioning to the civilian workforce as potential apprenticeship program candidates.

  • Funding

We provide our partners with a small amount of one-time, per-apprentice incentive funding that can be used toward program costs (excluding apprentice wages) on a first-come, first-served basis. We also help partners identify and access other sources of federal, state and local funding to assist with program implementation.

  • Ongoing Support

Our team of apprenticeship experts can provide ongoing support to help your organization market your program, develop and sustain best practices, and form partnerships with apprenticeship system stakeholders to ensure your program’s sustainability.
